Science-First Approach to Exosome Skincare
Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles carrying proteins, lipids, and RNAs. Nobel Prize-winning discoveries on vesicle transport (2013) and microRNAs (2024) help us understand how exosomes facilitate cell-to-cell communication. In cosmetics, exosome serums harness these insights to support skin appearance and barrier function.
Preparation Steps
- Cleanse and dry your skin; avoid active treatments for 48 hours before use.
- Open one vial of lyophilized exosome powder and one vial of activating solution.
- Pour the activating solution into the powder vial and gently swirl until fully dissolved; do not shake vigorously.
- Use the newly mixed serum immediately; do not store the mixture.
Application Protocol
- Apply the mixed serum evenly to the face, neck, or targeted areas.
- Gently massage to aid absorption.
- Do not rinse; allow the serum to absorb naturally.
- Recommended frequency: once every 3–4 weeks depending on your routine.
Safe Use & Compliance
Our exosome formulations are cosmetics, not drugs. Research on extracellular vesicles and microRNAs has been recognized by Nobel Prizes (MicroRNAs won the Nobel Prize. Now, can extracellular vesicles …, Vesicle Discovery Wins Nobel for Medicine | Exosome RNA). However, the FDA classifies human exosomes as biologic drugs and has not approved any exosome therapies for medical use (The real science of exosomes—the latest obsession in skincare). Use these products only as external topical skincare; do not inject, infuse, or use for medical treatments. Consult a professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
