handling principles (Fragrance & Alcohol)

 

 

1) Fragrance (Fragrance/Parfum)

 

 

• We follow a “less is more” stance—scent is never the selling point of our core freeze-dry + fresh-mix routine.

• If a formula includes fragrance, we label per regional rules (including any listed fragrance allergens) and clearly note on the PDP: avoid fragranced products for 72 h post-procedure.

 

 

2) Alcohol (Alcohol / Alcohol Denat.)

 

 

• Volatile alcohols (e.g., ethanol, Alcohol Denat.): can feel fresh but may sting—avoid post-procedure and if you’re sensitive.

• Fatty alcohols (e.g., Cetyl, Cetearyl, Stearyl Alcohol): waxy, structure-giving emollients/emulsifiers; not the same as sting-prone ethanol.

 

 

3) Why freeze-dry + fresh-mix helps

 

With EXO-Lyospheres™ (freeze-dried exosome powder + dedicated diluent), one vial = one session. The fresh-mix workflow means we don’t need heavy fragrance or high ethanol to mask scent or “fake” slip in the critical care step.

How to read your INCI (one-minute check)

 

 

• “Fragrance/Parfum” present? → It’s fragranced. If allergen sub-components are listed, be extra cautious if reactive.

• “Alcohol/Alcohol Denat.” present? → Contains volatile ethanol; avoid for 72 h post-procedure.

• “Cetearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl Alcohol” present? → These are fatty alcohols (generally well tolerated).

Sensitive skin & post-procedure playbook

 

D0–D3 (first 72 h):

 

• Do: gentle cleanse → EXO-Lyospheres™ fresh-mix thin layer or full session → 10–15 min calming mask → barrier cream → broad-spectrum/physical SPF.

• Avoid: obvious fragrance, Alcohol Denat./Ethanol, strongly scented toners/mists.

 

D4–D7:

 

• Reintroduce favorites gradually based on tolerance; if you want a fragranced item, patch-test or spot-use first.

 

Sensitive long-term:

 

• Prefer zero-fragrance / zero-ethanol or low-sens SKUs when available. Keep patch-testing in your routine (instructions below).

• Apply a pea-sized amount of the fresh-mixed solution to a coin-sized area behind the ear or on inner forearm.

• Observe 24–48 h. Mild, transient pinkness is usually acceptable; stop and consult if burning, persistent redness, oozing, or intense itch develops.
