Q19|Is There an Age Limit?

Aug 30, 20254 min read

 Recommended for Adults 18+

In 2013, the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine established the cellular “vesicle trafficking” mechanism—essentially the instruction manual for how cells package and deliver signals. That insight helps us understand and modulate exosome formation and release, opening possibilities in skin and aesthetic care. Exosomes have since been widely explored as one of this century’s most promising ways to overcome long-standing bottlenecks in regeneration and repair.

TL;DR

  • Our exosome products—and their pairing with microneedling/energy procedures—are intended for adults (18+).

  • Minors (<18): not recommended. If there is a skin concern, visit a licensed medical provider with a guardian and follow medical advice.

  • For adults: freeze-dried powder + dedicated diluent, fresh-mix, one vial = one session; if split is unavoidable, 2–8 °C and finish within 48 h; cadence every 7–10 days.

Why 18+?

  • Physiology & tolerance: teen skin is still maturing (barrier rhythm, sebum), and is more vulnerable to strong actives and procedural misuse.

  • Consent & regulation: microneedling/energy devices are professional procedures; <18 involves guardian consent and a higher risk management burden—not suitable as routine beauty care.

  • Evidence boundaries: we operate within cosmetic scope (soothing, hydration, barrier support). Long-term topical exosome data in minors are limited, so we take the conservative path.

Adult usage guide (rhythm templates by age band)

Applies to 18+ only.

Three rules: one vial = one use (freeze-dried + diluent, fresh-mix), microneedling day 0–60 min post-procedure apply then 10–15 min calming mask, and post-mix storage 2–8 °C / 48 h max.

Cadence baseline: every 7–10 days; 3 sessions ≈ one micro-cycle (Ultra), 2 sessions ≈ half-cycle (Max), single-session maintenance = Pro.

72-hour rule: for 72 h post-procedure: repair + SPF only; avoid strong acids/strong retinoids/high-% L-ascorbic acid and high-heat devices.

Fulfillment & traceability: Fresh-Batch 48h (latest released batch allocation + per-vial label + temp-aware shipping).

18–24|Baseline stability for schedule swings

  • Goal: calm redness, support barrier, smooth fluctuations from study/sleep.

  • Clinic cadence: q10–14d × 2–3; start with Pro, use Max (2+2) two weeks before exams/events.

  • Home: 1–2×/week thin layer/soak; avoid acid “same-week” stacking. Oily/acne-prone: stabilize first, then escalate.

25–34|Early anti-aging & clarity

  • Goal: ↑ hydration, ↓ TEWL, more durable clarity.

  • Clinic: q7–10d × 3; make a full micro-cycle with Ultra (3+3).

  • Home: add gentle peptides D3–D7 post-needling; re-introduce acids/retinoids ≥D7.

35–44|Texture & elasticity (steady progress)

  • Goal: refined texture, bounce, makeup adherence.

  • Clinic: q7–10d × 3–4; Ultra as main path, optional D20± booster.

  • Home: weekly thin layer; pair with ceramide/squalane repair.

  • Devices: combine with moderate energy per Q13 timing (device → cool/close → exosome).

45–54|Dry-sensitive tendency & redness control

  • Goal: hydration/comfort first; tame redness variability.

  • Clinic: q7–10d × 3; start Max, step to Ultra if well-tolerated.

  • Home: 1–2×/week thin layer/soak; minimize “same-week” strong actives.

  • Tip: extend intervals to 10–14d during heatwaves/seasonal shifts.

55–64|Long-horizon moisture & comfort

  • Goal: lock hydration, stable barrier feel, foundation sits better.

  • Clinic: q10d × 3; often Ultra, then Pro monthly for maintenance.

  • Home: weekly thin layer; add isotonic mist + repair cream.

  • Tip: if heat/friction-sensitive, stagger devices and exosome days.

65+|Low-irritation first; steady state wins

  • Goal: gentle, controllable, fewer variables.

  • Clinic: individualized; lower parameters, q10–14d × 2–3.

  • Home: Pro monthly or as-needed; comfort is the KPI.

  • Note: if on meds/chronic disease, consult your professional team first.

Quick scene picker

  • Try once / single maintenance: Pro (1+1) on D0 (procedure day) or any calm-care day.

  • Two-week smoothing: Max (2+2) → D0 + D7–10.

  • Full micro-cycle: Ultra (3+3) → D0 + D7–10 + D20±.

  • Quarterly plan: one Ultra per quarter; other months, Pro once/month.

Guardrails & FAQs

  • Red flags: active dermatitis/infection, open wounds, pregnancy/breastfeeding, strong allergy history → pause (see Q17/Q18).

  • Device pairing: follow “device first → cool/close → exosome fresh-mix” (see Q13).

  • With strong actives: first 72 h = repair + SPF only; re-introduce acids/retinoids ≥D4–D7, and use time/zone separation (see Q12).

Track & review

Log D0 / D3 / D7 / D14 / D28: hydration, redness, perceived tightness, makeup adherence. Take photos in the same light and angle—it’s the easiest way to visualize “steadier” and “smoother.”

Compliance note (site-ready)

Our products are cosmetics for surface-level skincaresoothing, hydration, and barrier support. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

One-line wrap

Keep dosage just right, cadence steady, and timing on point. With fresh-mixed, one vial per use, 48-hour window and Fresh-Batch 48h traceability, adults 18+ can build a predictable rhythm—seeing “steadier” by session two to three, and “finer, clearer” by session three to four.
