Q15|Pre-Procedure Use—A T−7 to Procedure-Day Stabilization Plan

Aug 30, 20254 min read
In 2013, the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine established the cellular “vesicle trafficking” mechanism—essentially the instruction manual for how cells package and deliver signals. That insight helps us understand and modulate exosome formation and release, opening possibilities in skin and aesthetic care. As nanoscale couriers of intercellular messages, exosomes have since been widely explored for their potential—one of the most promising ways this century to overcome long-standing bottlenecks in regeneration and repair.

TL;DR

  • Yes, you can use it before procedures. Start 3–7 days prior to help keep the barrier balanced and calm visible redness, making procedure day more predictable.

  • What to use: EXO-Lyospheres™ (freeze-dried exosomes + dedicated diluent). One vial = one session, mixed fresh.

  • How to use: follow the timeline below; pause high-irritation actives (strong acids/retinoids/high-% L-AA vitamin C) and tighten sun/ sleep hygiene.

  • Scope: cosmetic care only; no medical claims. Final timing should follow your clinic’s SOP and professional evaluation.

Timeline (T−7 → T0)

T−7 to T−5: “Lighten the load”

  • Stop: AHA/BHA/peels, strong retinoids, ≥15% L-AA vitamin C, scrubs/high-alcohol toners.

  • Routine: gentle cleanse → basic hydration → broad-spectrum/physical-leaning SPF.

  • Optional PM: one thin layer or 10–15 min soak with freshly mixed EXO-Lyospheres™ (one vial = one use).

T−4 to T−3: “Stabilize the baseline”

  • Routine: gentle cleanse → thin exosome layer → ceramide/squalane/cholesterol repair cream → SPF.

  • Goal: hydration , tightness , localized redness cooling down.

  • Avoid: late nights, heavy alcohol, post-workout steam/sauna.

T−2: “Don’t blow it at the finish line”

  • Keep the thin exosome layer; guard against UV and sharp temperature swings.

  • No: sunbathing, sauna/hot yoga, or trialing brand-new strong actives.

T−1: “Final priming night”

  • Flow: cleanse → fresh-mix EXO-Lyospheres™ (10–15 min soaked application) → repair cream seal → early sleep.

  • Purpose: bring the stratum corneum water content and micro-environment to a calm, prepared state for tomorrow.

T0 (procedure day)

  • AM: gentle cleanse → no makeup → mineral/physical-leaning SPF + physical shade (hat/umbrella/mask).

  • Clinic: complete device work → cool/settle & confirm intact surface → within 0–60 min apply fresh-mixed exosomes → 10–15 min calming mask.

  • Makeup note: see Q14—skip makeup for ≥24 h if possible.

Pre-Procedure

Do & Don’t

Do

  • Steady sleep, moderate sugar/alcohol, adequate water.

FAQs

Q: What’s the ideal lead time?

A: 3–7 days is a reliable window. Earlier is fine; at minimum, keep a 3-day “de-load” period.

Q: Retinoids or peels right before?

A: Not advised—park the heavy hitters until after the cycle.

Q: Do I need a full vial the night before?

A: Recommended. One vial = one use for the final prime. If your appointment moves, refrigerate 2–8 °C and finish within 48 h.

Q: Makeup on procedure day?

A: Better not. Avoid color cosmetics and heavy/water-resistant SPF for ≥24 h (see Q14).

Q: Can I use LED or an infusion gadget pre-op?

A: Low-heat, low-intensity red LED is acceptable sparingly. High-heat/strong infusion devices should be reassessed post-procedure per SOP.

Fulfillment & Traceability (confidence starts at checkout)

  • Fresh-Batch 48h: within 48 hours of your order we allocate the latest released batch, print per-vial labels, and ship temperature-aware.

  • Per-vial traceability: each vial shows LOT / Vial-ID / spec / date; scan the QR to your Trace Page for COA summaries, temperature notes, and usage pointers.

One-line wrap

Nail three things—reduce irritants, prime the barrier, and hit the timing window—and procedure day feels calmer and cleaner. In our system, exosomes play a cosmetic role: soothing, hydrating, and supporting the barrier. Use them 3–7 days before, then continue every 7–10 days afterward, and you’ll move through the mini-cycle with more control and fewer surprises.
